Privacy at ExamRoo

The short version

You can use every practice test without an account. We never ask for your name, and we only see an email address if you choose to type one into a form or email us. Your answers and progress stay in your own browser.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and tests are used, so we know what to improve. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived. We do not send it your answers, your name or your email address. Google's own policy explains how it handles this data: policies.google.com/privacy.

Forms and email

When you send the request-a-test form or the contact form, we receive what you typed (the exam name, your email address, your state, how soon you need it and any note) and the address of the page you sent it from. It is stored in a Google Form that only we can read, with Google acting as our service provider, and Cloudflare emails us a copy.

If you email us, Cloudflare passes your message on to our Gmail inbox, so we receive your email address and whatever you write.

We use your email address only to reply to you or to tell you when the test you asked for is live. We do not sell it, share it or add it to a mailing list. Email privacy@examroo.com or use the contact form and we will delete what you sent.

Saved in your browser only

Your quiz progress, results, the questions you got wrong, your votes and your light or dark theme are saved in your browser's local storage on this device. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
